The Ice thickness controller ? EDR2 makes ice production easy. Now the production will be automatically and better controlled than ever.

The EDR2 comes in two parts: The EDR2-controller-modul and EDR2-sensor-modul.

The EDR2-sensor-modul is a cooling plate with four sensors. It is placed in a water-filled basin for the controlled production of ice. On this cooling plate grows automatically a ice layer up to a pre-defined thickness. When the required thickness is achieved, the connected refrigerator is switched off. It will switch on automatically, if the ice layer is melting.

The EDR2-controller-modul is mounted on a wall and controls the connected cooling generator via a six-stage switch.

? The stages 5 or 6 activate and deactivate the continuous production operation.
