The 8270 insulation resistance tester has been specifically designed to measure the insulation resistance on electromechanical equipment such as appliances, electrical systems, components and motors.

The resistance values can be measured from 0.5 to 20,000 Mohm and the test voltage is set to 500 Vdc. The products can either be tested with or without reference to earth.

The 8270 model has limit comparators using GO/NO GO signalling which may be programmed to any value in the range of measurement. It is useful for automatic line tests as well as for manual tests with an operator.

The 8270 insulation resistance tester has 500 VDC test voltage, a precision of +/- 3% f.s., and 0.5-20,000 MOhm resistance measure.
