The HID eProx? Lock Modules are mostly used for battery powered applications, for electronic door access, handheld computers, transportation devices, offering HID proximity cards compatibility for power constraining applications. They offer security, durability, usability, convenience and reliability for different access control systems. They are a common part of third-party HID proximity-based devices. They can also be used in combination with a on-line system that uses HID proximity cards and readers. They are commonly used for situations without AC power sources. The sleep mode of modules features a current of 12uA, and 36 mA in operating mode, during 250 ms card read. They voltage supply is from 4 to 10 V DC, via power supply or battery connection.
