Roller bearing / spherical

The Spherical roller bearings are available in two main categories, those featuring a cylindrical bore and models with a tapered bore. These models are capable of high load capacity, excellent shock load tolerance and self-aligning, but are limited by speed. They are designed for installation between the spherical raceway on the outer ring and the two grooves on the inner ring, leaving the symmetrical barrel rollers to freely align according to the concave outer ring raceway. This system compensates for shaft deflection and misalignment. The double row models are usually designed for handling bi-directional axial and radial loads simultaneously, and therefore widely used in various applications where high load accommodation is required and their self-alignment advantage can be fully exploited, such as metallurgy, mining, petroleum and cement production (vibrators, shakers, conveyors, speed reducers, transmissions and similar heavy duty equipment).
