GEA Grasso SP1 series comprises 22 package sizes of single-stage screw that can withstand a peak capacity range of 130 up to 5,700 kW. Smaller sizes enables a broader integration level of components, and a reduced amount of connecting elements while the larger sizes are clamped on a separate base frame with low positioned gravity center to ensure operation with reduced noise and vibration.

Furthermore, the GEA Grasso Sp1 series feature a compact base frame comprising efficient oil cooler with optional waste heat recovery, and a stepless capacity control by frequency inverter and capacity slide capable of attaining an oil carry over of less than 5 ppm, due to its integrated oil separator with different sizes and minimal oil charge.
