SEL TPR6 is an SF6 insulated ring main unit (RMU) for secondary distribution applications. It employs the most recent advancements in switchgear technology and provides a very compact, medium voltage switchgear system. It is available in a range of different configurations for almost all switching systems in 7,2 up to 40,5 kV distribution networks. TPR6 is offered as a standard version or a modular version, which allows further additions. Along with all these features, the unit offers highest personnel safety.

TPR6 is fully sealed for life. It has a stainless steel tank comprising of all live components and switching equipment. Hermetic seal from outside results in excellent dependability and personnel care. The structure is capable of resisting electrodynamics stresses. Front panel has operating mechanism, movable mimic and voltage signal lamps. Switches work with a spring-operated mechanism.
