This multi circuit range (MCR) is a versatile SF6 insulated vacuum ring main unit. A vacuum circuit breaker unit is combined with fault-make load break switches (ring switch/isolators). The highly compact system has front cable terminations and is well-protected with an interlock, pad-lock and earthing facilities.

This unit can either be free standing or installed in a compact mini-substation. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and is able to accommodate the further extension of isolators and breakers depending on the application.

The compact units are simple to install and operate, having the most advanced vacuum switching technology in an SF6 gas filled enclosure. These fully weatherproof units require virtually zero maintenance and are characterized by their operational safety and reliability.
