SICK which is the leading German sensor specialist introduces FLOWSIC500. It is the first ultrasonic gas meter for the natural gas distribution in the world. Various establishments acquire natural gas then supply it to primary industries, power stations and other industrial consumers. This process consists of huge amounts of gas which requires a remarkably reliable and highly accurate input and output measurement. Traditional mechanical gas meters has proven arduous to check as well as unfeasible to correctly monitor. In addition, traditional mechanical gas meters need costly maintenance and are complicated to handle. The FLOWSIC500 eradicates all these barriers and disadvantages.
