The Portaflow PT400 is a portable transit time flow meter, ideally suited for accurate flow measurements from outside the pipe and intended for use with clean fluids like water, glycol, oil and most chemicals. It permits senor installation without flow interruptions, obstructions or pressure drops, as the ultrasonic signal can easily pass through all common metal and plastic pipe materials. The large LCD display provides continuous real time flow rate in the form of numeric values or graphs in addition to the information on totalizer, battery status and signal strength, while the measuring units can be easily changed via simple button press (e.g. gallons to liters). The pairs of ultrasound sensors clamp on the outside pipe wall (horizontal or vertical) and are available in two versions: 'A' Transducers for 0.51" to 4.5" outside diameter (13 to 115 mm) or 'B' Transducers for 2? to 39.37? outside diameter (50 to 1000 mm).
