The VD8 series is a line of digital compact vacuum meters manufactured by Thyracont. These tools are used for measuring absolute pressure in the range of 1600 mbar to 5 x 10?? mbar. The vacuum gauges are equipped with either internal or external sensors that display high and low values of pumps. These devices provide a broad measurement range with good resolution and accuracy. They can also function as a data logger to keep pressure data during the measurement for optimized memory usage.

The tools are provided with a USB interface for data transfer and convenient configuration of vacuum gauge parameters. These apparatuses use the VacuGraph? software that aids in saving the measurements on a PC. Common applications of these instruments include replacement of mechanical Hg manometers and readjustment permanently installed equipment.
