The VD84 digital Pirani temperature compensated (with durable helix filament) vacuum meter and data logger is equipped with the external, replaceable sensor head (VSP841/2) capable of reading absolute pressure in the fine vacuum range of 100 to 1x10-3 mbar (=hPa), 75 to 1x10-3 Torr. It can be powered via battery or external power source making it ideal for both portable or stationary use. This model features a USB port, storage and display of high and low values (min/max), very good reproducibility, gas correction for extra accuracy, long battery life (clocked measurement) and automatic off switch or continuous operation. Additionally, it is resistant to condensed solvents and can display pressure in various metric units: mbar, Torr and hPa. It is normally employed in cyclic monitoring of vacuum insulations of liquid gas tanks or pipelines.
