The flow-meter operates with accordance to the variable area principle, where a float is hung in upward fluid media in a closed plastic tube. The erect positioning of the float inside the metering tube varies with the flow-rate of the medium. The Type 700 and Type 701 is customized for liquids and gases respectively.
There is vast choice of measuring scales and end links with Eight distinct widths and five varied tube-lengths. There are three unique plastic-tube materials with SS and PP float materials. Exclusive and double scales are present with excellent precision for simple operations. It has user-friendly maintenance of width range of Type 700/701 d 25 (3/4); d 32 (1); d 40 (1 1/4); d 50 (1 ½); d 63 (2) and d 75 (2 ½). The measuring tube is manufactured from lucid PVC-U material.
