The glass flowmeter V4 is based on the principle of variable area.
Consists of a conical tube, vertically, into which a float exceeding the density of the fluid (liquid or gas) to be measured is located.
Said fluid flows upwardly with sufficient speed so that the float is raised, causing an increase in the constant pressure until a necessary passage section, consequently a situation of balance.
As pressure is increased quadratic function of the speed, every equilibrium position corresponding to a flow rate.
The glass tube carries a scale serigraph is valid and only with the fluid that has been calibrated.
For each product must be applied corresponding correction coefficients. The pressure loss of flowmeter is constant throughout the course of the float.
