The Lambda Technologies MicroCure 5100 has been developed while keeping the exclusive Variable Frequency Microwave process technique in mind which provides fast, uniform and selective processing of materials.

VFM processing is beneficial over alternative technologies for many reasons. It gives fast and selective heating in comparison with conventional ovens, has uniform energy distribution, and exact process cycle control. It provides a fast sweep over controlled bandwidths enabling electronics packaging assemblies to be processed without causing any arcing or circuit damage.

The system operating features include automated control and data acquisition, operator-defined profiling event cycles, pre-set process parameters which can be programmed to suit the product quantity and type, an IR Temp Monitoring System which gives closed loop feedback, characterization routines for the materials and process optimization, and Auto Ramp software which gives precise control of ramp and temperature rates.

This process development and optimization assistance includes process trials and is offered by Lambda in part as technical support for the MicroCure Technology.
