Mercury Retorts
No equal for processing high volume, high mercury materials such as Merrill-Crowe precipitates.

FLSmidth manufactures Summit Valley Mercury Retorts ranging from 5 to 40 cubic feet of material capacity. Natural gas, diesel, propane and electrically heated models are available. Mercury condensing and handling systems are included with all of our retort systems. These retorts have cycle times of approximately 24 hours and can produce a product that contains less than 0.01% mercury.

We also have Mercury Abatement Systems available that can handle the removal of mercury from all types of process exhaust. All of our mercury removal systems are designed to the Nevada standards.
