Mitutoyo?s Holtests are used for direct measurement of internal diameters, it features a self-centering three-point micrometer which is versatile enough to provide efficient and accurate results. There are three anvils which are 120° spaced apart thus finding true alignment with the axis of a certain hole to achieve best measurement accuracy.
It has titanium coated measuring surfaces that can handle deeper holes by using an optional extension rod that is available on over 6mm or .275?measuring ranged models. Comes with a Ratchet Stop to ensure consistent force. And allows options of accurate instrument setting under a variety of measuring methods.
