Pneumatic brake / tension control / unwinder

The SensiFlex® Pneumatic unwind brake is especially used for controlling tension. This type of actuator gives high sensitivity to the air pressure changes on a broadest possible range of its torque output. The device is cooler, and provides ambient air into its pneumatic clutch or brake.

The air is pushed outward through a radial hole in order to dissipate the heat generated by a constant slip. Without the addition of fans or water cooling devices, the higher thermal horsepower capacity is obtained. Due to the low operating temperature, the lining fade and the increase of wearing of the unit is lessen.

The precision machining ensures a parallel alignment of the friction. In order to have a smooth performance and a long life, the device consist of one, molded, low coefficient friction disc.
