Bison-Bial manufactures quality and precision lathe chucks for clients that want to take care of demanding applications. These chucks that find universal use, are made out of either forged steel or cast iron. The working surfaces of the chucks are induction hardened and ground. The rugged finished chuck meets high parameters that are set for sliding, stability and durability . Each chuck will undergo a quality control inspection before actually leaving the factory. The gripping force is checked and so is run-out. Bison-Bial quality standards are more stringent than DIN standards. All components transmitting the gripping force are of compact design. Each scroll plate and precision chuck are statically balanced within fine limits. All chucks are equipped with grease nipples for convenient maintenance.
