ORing IDS-5011 is a unique and safe 1-port RS-232 to 1-port LAN serial to Ethernet device server. It has all the standard features of a device server, such as TCP/IP interface. It also has versatile operation options, including Virtual Com, TCP Server, Serial Tunnel, TCP Client, and UDP.

The server allows configuration of multiple devices and setting up Virtual Com mappings with the Windows utility DS-Tool. It has additional features such as NAT router pass-through, DDNS, and PPPoE. These features allow administrators to easily configure ORing?s device servers via NAT router from distinct IP domains or internet through modem remotely.

IDS-5011 also allows simultaneous transfer of data up to 5 redundant host PCs. This prevents any breakdown of Ethernet connection or any host PC failures. IDS-5011 has HTTPS, SSH, and SSL encryption resulting in high security during critical data transmission. For assuring an uninterrupted operation, the device has dual redundant power supply of 12 to 48 VDC and DC power jack.
