The converter allows attaching Nokeval SCL protocol devices in Ethernet. The converter acts as a TCP server, relaying data transparently to and from the serial bus. Any non-timing critical protocol can be used.

Up to 32 devices can be connected in the RS-485 bus as long as each of them uses a different serial bus address.

The settings are configured using a web browser. The IP address can be entered manually or using DHCP. The settings can be protected with a password. The device was formerly known as SS100.
