Gas cooler / water-cooled / air-cooled

The gas cooling unit (GK) from SILOXAs product range is specifically designed to handle cooling of the biogas inflow. The frame of the functional unit is fixed with all the cooling components that include gas cooler, condensate trap, liquid coolant circuit and, depending on the size and a water cooler. The integrated control unit regulates all connected assemblies and monitoring devices. The components that come into contact with the gas are all electrostatically conductive. This confirms the gas cooling system to the ATEX requirements for handling biogas and with TRBS 2153 (Technical Rules for Operational Safety Prevention of ignition hazards due to electrostatic charges). The easy-to-use gas cooling unit comes in 12 different sizes/performance classes for gas flow rates of 180 to 2100 Nm3/h. Customized variants are also available on request. Similar to all SILOXA products, the gas cooling unit is designed to promote optimum efficiency of the CHP plant with reduced operating costs.
