The requirement is to form doors of pre-punched blanks, to spot weld the corners and to palletize the completed doors with minimum cycle times. Doors are made of two different materials and thicknesses.

Loading of pre-punched blanks is by a robot from factory pallets.The welding tabs in two corners are formed in a separate station before bending the sides.Sides are bent in two heavy duty wing formers which are stationary and the work piece is transported and positioned for bending with CNC gripper feeders for great accuracy. Two panels are bent simultaneously.Blanks are turned 90 ° and then fed into the bending station for the ends.Both ends are bent simultaneously and the panel is brought into the spot welding station.Two robots are in place for spot welding the corners and to discharge doors on pallets.
Technical Data

Blanks up to 1000*2 500 mm are bent.
Sheet thickness up to 2 mm for mild and stainless steel.
Bending down and up wards with the CNC.
Capacity is appr. 3 completed doors per minute
