Laboratory freeze dryer

The Alpha 1-4 LDplus is a laboratory freeze dryer used mainly for routine applications, especially for the effective lyophilisation of specimens. It features a graphic LC display, a menu guidance set in three languages, and a vacuum control for the reduction of process times. The freezer dryer can also convert product temperature and vacuum according to the vapor pressure curve above ice.

With an ice condenser performance of 4 kg/24 h, the instrument works with an ice condenser capacity of 4 kg and a condenser temperature of -55°C. The instrument weighs a total of 42 kg.

The Alpha 1-4 LDplus also features an RS-232 communications interface for the PC and an accompanying LyoLog LL-1 software. An optional electromagnetic pressure control valve may also be attached to the instrument.
