Digital indicator / panel / for marine applications

The Local Display Unit is an electronic unit intended to display parameters. It is intended to be used in marine applications without personnel in the machine room to display alarm information and notify a request for responsibility transfer. The LDU communicates with the supervision software in an RS485/RS422-type network architecture using the MODBUS RTU communication protocol. The communication interface can eventually be configured in RS232 to perform a point-to-point connection. The LDU is mechanically designed to have a minimal overall dimension in order to be housed in a bulkhead or an electrical cabinet. Usually, alarms are grouped to be sent in a compact form in the various facilities (mess room, meeting room, cabins, etc) and more so in the staff cabin (OnDuty). The LDU is optimized to operate with the CLARINUX alarm monitoring software. It is possible to used with other alarm monitoring systems.
