The Delphi DFI 21 Diesel Common Rail Injector is a new generation diesel fuel injector with improved performance, a reduced exterior envelope, and high hydraulic efficiency. It is designed for future commercial vehicle engine programs and offers a convenient technology upgrade strategy for existing diesel engine programs.

The DFI 21 Injector offers greater injection accuracy when compared to conventional technologies by delivering smaller quantities of fuel in a greater number of injections.

The DFI 21 Injector is a modular design with proven, common interior technology and more custom exterior packaging flexibility than conventional products. It features a miniaturized balanced control valve and actuator, an advanced nozzle concept and needle motion control. The DFI 21 Injector is ideally suited for a wide variety of commercial vehicle diesel engine programs.
