Filtervac offers On-Line Tap Changer Filtration Systems for the continuous removal of carbon, water and metallic particles in Tap Changers. These contaminants are present in Tap Changers due to arcing contacts during the transfer of loads from tap-to-tap in the tap changer compartments. The Filtervac System is designed to improve the overall reliability of the Load Tap Changer and the Distribution Transformer itself and is also designed to reduce operation and maintenance costs. A variety of options are available to meet specific customer's requirements and budgets.
