This high-pressure, reciprocating compressor from Burckhardt Compression is ideal for polyethylene plants with low densities. To reduce the number of cylinders, three frame sizes are available. Long operating life is ensured, as low specific loads are worked with rugged motion.

The capacities of the Hyper series of compressors range from 40,000 to 225,000kg/h. An auxiliary guide is provided to eliminate unwanted plunger movement. Types of gases handled with the Hyper compressor are co-monomers, ethylene and ethylene vinyl acetate.
