Berthold Technologies presents Mithras LB 940 microplate multimode reader. The modular and dependable reader provides excellent performance. It has a reputation for sensitivity and sturdiness, particularly in luminescence and BRET measurements.

The reader is compliant with all essential reading technologies. These include •Luminescence, •BRET and BRET², •Fluorescence (top and bottom), •FRET, •AlphaScreen® and AlphaLISA®, Fluorescence Polarisation (FP), •Time-Resolved Fluorescence, UV/VIS Absorbance, •and HTRF®.

•Unlike conventional multi-technology devices, the Mithras multimode microplate reader has been developed with a proprietary optical system. This system comprises of optimized paths for every reading
technology. This is known as Dedicated Optical Path System (DOPS). As a result, Mithras can provide performances expected from dedicated devices. Every technology has its own set of needs on the optical system. This is why only separated light paths can ensure that each technology meets the demands for high sensitivity and a broad dynamic range.
