The SSG 200-180 is a pulse current generator that belongs to the SSG Series from Haefely. These generators can cater all impulse current applications while following all international standards. The systems of current impulse test are typically custom-made. Haefely's experience in engineering design allows the generators to match a certain requirement. The impulse current generator can be used in exponential current impulse of 1/20us, 4/10us, 8/20us. It can also be used in rectangular current impulses. Operating duty tests with current amplitudes of at most 200 kA can also be done.
