Plate bending machine with 3 drive rollers

The HAEUSLER HDR type three roll plate bending machine features linear hydraulic movement of all three rolls: Vertical top roll and horizontal bottom roll movement. This concept offers some significant advantages over other 3 roll concepts regarding pre-bending, bending quality and work-piece handling.

The following basic operations can be used:

Pre-bending of sheet edges
Rounding of sheets into cylindrical shapes
Press bending of cones and cylinders
Calibrating for minimization of radius variations in a welded tube

The most significant technological leap occurred in 2008/09 with the completion
of a revolutionary concept. This patented design eliminates some typical industry standard disadvantages of 3-roll machines and allows the operator the best possible view of the bending process, guarantees minimal foundation costs and allows the use of pushing cylinders for all three rolls
