The TE Connectivity has been developing and manufacturing high performance, multi-directional interconnection system since the introduction of Duracell's standard-size nickel-metal hydride rechargeable battery. It has been a standard to all computer and communications original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The TE Connectivity 5-position receptacle connectors provide reliable, easy mate/unmate interconnects. Single contacts can handle 7 amperes with operating temperature of -30°C to +70°C with a 30°C T-Rise. Sturdy brass header contacts with duplex tin-lead solder tails and nickel on the mating ensuring high-cycle durability mating/unmating. Housings are made of UL 94V-0 rated high-temperature thermoplastic with left-hand, right-hand, or with key-less mounting configurations.
