Optecs SwifTerm? SC no-polish connector has been created to quickly, easily and reliably ensure field-termination. It is pre-polished and also pre-assembled a connector that will eliminate any requirement for epoxy, hand polishing and crimping at site. This way the chances of operator errors are reduced and also there is a higher process yield. The SwifTerm? SC No-Polish Connector is very compatible with optical fibers of 250µm and 900µm and 2mm or 3mm cordage and drop cable. It should work comfortably in any premises workstation, FTTP applications in indoor or outdoor environments, FTTDesk and CATV backbone networks. It is possible to seek high precision on fiber alignment, enjoy easy operation features as there are 3 components only. It is possible to achieve superb optical performance and also ensure efficient field termination in half the time needed for field polish connectors.
