In 2010 dhms has expanded its product lines with an innovative, low height roadheader system. This roadheader system complements the former product line of robust drilling, loading and dinting machines as well as miscellaneous heading components.

With this roadheader system the customers of dhms are able to develop effectively galleries in underground coal mining by drilling, blasting and cutting.

The newly designed roadheaders dh R60 and dh R75 fit the bill when highly efficient roadheaders are requested in order to achieve outstanding daily advance rates together with high support quality and comparatively reduced manpower consumption.

Extreme robustness, high cutting power, low height, heavy weight at low soil pressure, very little consumption of water and uniquely integrated designs render dh roadheaders a perfect system for coal mine development challenges ? even in extreme conditions.

The basis for the dhms roadheader was the Eickhoff Roadheader System. The dh mining system design team was able to transform this proven technology into the 21st century and to add valuable integrated components:

unique water mist spray system
integrated drilling and bolting device
remote controls for all functions
