Once such heading system, recently developed together with an important coal mining customer, addresses the issue of safety in mines with a risk of gas outbursts. The IBS Outburst Management Package ?OMP? comprises the following complementary equipment and systems:

the IBS roadheader itself with remote control
new radar-based tele-remote operator assistance system from indurad
degasification drill manipulator and multi-purpose adapter from Neuhäuser
monorail travelling hoist system for the degasification drill manipulator from Sigma
modular bridge belt conveyor from Sigma
optional roofbolter to fit the multi-purpose adapter
a dry-type dedusting and ventilation system from CFT
