Hitachi Econofresh kit is a smart accessory tool that can be installed with ease. The Econofresh kit can deliver up to 100% fresh air.

A combination of this kit and In-the-Ceiling (RPI) system maintains optimum room temperature and gives fresh air. Additionally it also provides natural cooling, resulting in reduced energy consumption. Further energy savings are provided by fresh air cooling at the time of intermediate seasons. For cooling purposes, the unit uses an economiser. It intakes fresh air when the outside temperature is less than the inside air. It does not use any compressor, resulting in further energy savings. Thanks to a fresh air intake system, the room air is constantly clean.

Also available is an optional CO2 sensor, which can indicate the degree of air pollution in the room.
