Optical preamplifier

The VENTEON | PULSE : THREE Preamplifier modules have been developed for amplifying low energy pulses (10 pJ) to significantly higher power levels. Originally designed for amplifying the narrowband 1030 nm output of the VENTEON | PULSE : ONE OPCPA SEED laser system, all modules can be used as independent amplification modules for other laser systems around 1 µm.

The alignment-free preamplifiers are completely fiber-based and easy to use.

All of our preamplifier modules come with the complete set of control electronics including laser diode driver, temperature controller and if necessary pulse picker electronics. The electronics are installed in a compact 19 rack and can be operated by a touch screen or a computer software. To ensure proper and safe operation of the preamplifier systems, the electronics comes with several functions like:

Output power stabilization
Door contact
Fast interlock system
Self-monitoring system to detect problems
Seed level monitoring with automatic interlock
Amplifier power monitoring with automatic interlock
User friendly control electronics
