The OWISet optical delay line from OWIS is a full construction unit, featuring approved optical components, high-precision linear stages and a position control. For ease-of-use, there is an option to choose components individually. The high stability of the OWIS products make the optical delay line highly suitable for continuous operation.

Six versions of ODL are available, for example the ODL 86 for an existing SYS 65 system integration and the ODL 19 for SYS 90 system integration. Depending on the option, optical access heights are available in a range of 58 mm up to 165 mm. Also possible are delay options in range of 300 ps to 1933 ps depending on the travel of the linear stage.

A step size of min. 0.26 fs can be reached with a PS 10 and 0.13 fs. with a PS 30 using 2-phase step motors. A minimum resolution of 3.3 fs can be reached by using DC motors.
