Traditionally the fans used to cool diesel engine radiators have always been linked to a rather simplistic image of a "large fan" fitted to the engine shaft.
The importance of this component is, however, as relevant as the radiator core. Actually the dimensions of the radiator core is closely related to the choice of the fan and different types of air flow configuration. Oesse designs heat exchangers selecting the best fan configuration in order to reduce the noise level, saving energy and fuel consumption.

The possibilities that Oesse studies, plans and proposes are:

Mechanical Fan

Plastic and Aluminium Impellers, with variable numbers of blades and profiles depending on performance requirements, directly fitted to the engine shaft.
Viscous Drives to manage the variability of the fan rpm with possible electronic interface with the engine.
Pneumatic or hydraulic systems to controll blade angle, and that allow reversing the air flow.
Hydraulic Fan

Fans driven by hydraulic motors, configured and selected according to the installed power.
Hydraulic Fan Drive systems to manage fan rpms with possible interface with the power unit of the engine. These systems also allow fan reversal.
Electric Fan

DC 12 -24 V Electric fans.
Softstart systems to extend fan life and airflow reversing device.
DC 12 -24 V Brushless fans.
Softstart system with proportional and reversing option.
Electric motors 400V - 50/60Hz for high power engine range.
