The MULTUS B550 multi-function turning center has a maximum turning diameter of 830 mm (32.68 inches), and a speed capacity of 30 to 3,000 min?¹. The system is comprised of a milling spindle, left and right spindles, and an automatic tool changer.

The system's H-1 dual function spindle head with CAPTO C8 tooling utilizes a 50/30hp VAC milling motor spindle. The machine also features a 240° B-axis range that works at 5,000 rpm. This B-axis, along with a traveling Y-axis, allows for enhanced piece handling flexibility.

Okuma THINC®-OSP absolute encoders enable features such as the "Collision Avoidance System" and pre-calibrated axis handling.
