The SC-module allows the simple wiring of optical transmitters and receivers that have an increased communication rate on long ranges. They are capable of being integrated with 'snap-in' that possess up to three fiber glass links on various fiber-types. A full system can have a maximum of seven modules that add up to 21 optical fiber connections.

Light waves are not prone to create sparks and are completely susceptible to electric and electromagnetic fields. This makes the SC-Module an ideal tool for use in explosive areas, operations regarding high voltages, FTTx procedures and all harsh industrial conditions.
