Diaphragm seal with flange connection

The Type SCE is a seies of flanged-attached diaphragm seals from Ametek is intended for use in tank applications. It may be suitable for various applications where piping and insulation needs the diaphragm to extend into the tank or flowstream of the process media.

The SCE seals contains slip-on flanges to provide easiness in installation and proper alignment. The extension body is engineered to fit into 3" or 3" schedule 40 pipeline. They are offered in extension lengths that ranges from 2?, 3?, 4?, 6?, and 8?.

The diaphragms of these seals are TIG welded to the extension. The body and diaphragm are can be availed in either 316L low carbon stainless steel or HASTELLOY® C276. They are furnished with Class 150, 300, or 600 ANSI standard flanges.
