Diaphragm seal with flange connection / for pressure gauges

Welded Diaphragm Seals-Type S series houses a welded diaphragm permanently on the top housing. Suitable for general-purpose applications with ranges from 15 to 2,500 psig at 100°F (1 to 176 bar at 38°C) with options available up to 20,000 psig (1406 bar). Vacuum applications with ranges down to 29" Hg (736 mm Hg) use ST Series. As the diaphragm is permanently welded in the Mansfield & Green S Series, it does not need a diaphragm retaining ring but reduces fluid leakage during normal operation or seal element maintenance. Free movement of the diaphragm is possible due to a contoured upper housing that helps in accurate response to pressure changes. Seal element is protected from distortion that might occur due to improper handling while maintenance. S Series diaphragm seals have a volumetric displacement of .07 cubic inches. All models have standard Filling screws except the high pressure Type SX Series.
