With the increasing concern for environmental effects by industrial machinery and strict regulations and the enforcement of the Clean Water Act has forced SkimOil to push MarineVAP, a device that can evaporate waste waters from sea including gray water, oil bilge water and black water. As of 2009, vessels that are a minimum of 79 feet long are to have NPDES permits to take care of the waste waters on board. The decreasing amount of waters designated as zones of no disposal, vessels now look to MarineVAP for safe disposal for waste waters on their board.
