The Eltras CS-2000 analyzer is designed for the detection of carbon and sulfur from ppm level up to 100%. A combined induction and resistance furnace, developed with the Eltra Dual Furnace (EDF) Technology, enables full flexibility for the device. This furnace technology also results in the fractional analysis of carbon and sulfur. An automatic induction feature facilitates the cleaning of the furnace. With a single and multi-point calibration property, the simultaneous configuration of carbon and sulfur is made possible with minimal sample preparation.

The temperature of the resistance furnace is adjustable up to 1,550 °C, in increments of 1 °C. A 2.2 kW induction furnace is used in temperatures that exceed 2,000 °C. Along with a robust design which allows usage in production control and laboratory, the analyzer is also built with a dust trap.
