Knuth presents BO 2500 CNC horizontal CNC machining center. It is used for 4-side machining of bulky, big and complicated workpieces, such as indexed work tables.

The machine has a heavy weight. Top quality, heavy-duty cast-iron is used for making machine assemblies, such as table, column, bed, saddle and head. It features advanced production processes with continuous control, resulting in highest accuracy in all assemblies. The bed construction offers a wide table setup area and broad guideways throughout the full working area. It can support up to 10 tons of workpiece weight.The device has a solid spindle head with weight balance. This ensures exceptional dynamic properties with highest durability.

The 4-Sided Machining is controlled to 90° indexing work table. This results in economical and complete machining in a single setup. Headstock's boom design ensures a long 800 mm W travel. It does not have any disruptive attachments, which is highly beneficial when operating deep within contours or enclosures. For efficient cooling of tool, it has a big coolant reservoir and high-performance pumps.
