The AN 1500 M Load Monitor is constructed so as to display and process signals emanating from various types of transducer (load, weight, torque, pressure) which use standard strain-gauge bridges. It is able to receive any signal within the ±150 mV DC range coming from a converter, a shunt or any kind of transmitter.

Selectable input ranges (15 mV, 30 mV or 150 mV) and excitation voltages (5 V or 10V +24V) are provided by the monitor in order to accommodate cells of differing types and sensitivities. Scaling the meter to operate in the desired engineering units is allowed by the two programming methods. Basically it comprises a soldered assembly composed of a main board, a power circuit and a tri-color programmable display. It features input variable and remote hold readings, a memory holding the maximum and minimum values, reset function and many more.
