The Phantom v641 is fitted with a 4 mega pixel sensor and higher than 6 gigapixels secondary output, and is backed by Emmy award winning technology 2560x 1600 resolution 10-1450 frames per second at the complete resolution. It boasts class leading sensitivity of 1 ?s minimum exposure. This second generation v640 camera has a smaller footprint and is much lighter than its predecessor and has a plethora of the latest convenience advantages that have been desired by users. Adding to this, the new version is equipped with two power units for battery backup or hot swapping batteries when the battery power is low.

Furthermore, the port for the viewfinder has been pushed forward on the camera in an effort to make the cabling neater with less intrusiveness. The two auxiliary ports can offer 12VDC (1.5A) for add ons and each is also appointed with a trigger signal available. The V641 camera is compatible with IRIG and SMPTE time code in and out, and features a remote port, which permits users to mate the Phantom RCU directly with the camera or even use the seamless USB wireless dongle.
