The BRC-300P from Sony is a highly advanced multi-functional compact robotic camera system (color) and it is designed for remote video recording applications. This camera has three 1/4.7 advanced HAD CCDs for the best resolution and high-quality images in both 16:9 and 4:3 mode.
It has a highly accurate Pan/Tilt/Zoom capability with a wide range. It thus allows BRC-300P to capture the required points of the area in its visual range. The optional remote control unit has an ergonomic joystick and a control panel with plenty of innovative features. When coupled with the BRU 300 optical multiplex unit and a BRBK-303 multiplex optical card, this camera can be controlled through a single optical fiber connection from a very long distance.
The camera comes equipped with a slot that can accept additional interface cards. It can thus be connected to any system including S-Video, SDI, RGB, and even fiber. Additionally, two RC (remote control) interfaces using VISCA protocol let it adapt and upgrade for any remote shooting application.
