The VEP or the vent Protector Fitting provides protection to the gauges and tubes that are exposed to the weather vagaries. These VEPs are cleaned and packed as per 8075 procedure . Thus the tube ends are treated with oxygen and cleaned to ensure longevity of life. These are burst proof and assured leak proof. These well tested and treated protective tubes, mean longer life for the exposed ends and the instruments.
