Type 4/PL eSafety relays with 2 guided Normally Open contacts and a PNP output, to signal the relay status, are perfect for Light Curtain applications. They act as an interface between light curtains (EOS4 A, EOS2 A, Admiral AD, Admiral AX BK, Vision V, etc.) and the machine control circuits. Equipped with a start/restart interlock and EDM feedback, the relays offer maximum safety.
The relays comply with the strictest standards: They adhere to Directives for Machinery (2006/42/CE); Electromagnetic Compatibility (2004/108/CE); and Low Voltage applications (2006/95/CE). They also adhere to machine safety norms such as IEC/EN 61496-1 Ed. 2.1 (for general requirements of Electro-sensitive protective equipment); IEC/TS 61496-2 Ed. 2 (for Active Optoelectronic Protective Devices); EN ISO 13849-1 (for general safety requirements of control systems); IEC/EN 62061 (for functional safety of electrical, electronic, and programmable electronic control systems).
